Hi Jenny, By default Autograph shades the reject region when plotting inequalities. This means that the area that is not shaded at all is the intersection of the accept regions. Hope this helps, Simon |

Not too sure what you mean by this. You can find the dilation (enlargement) of the circle through (-1,-1) with scale factor -1: Put 3 points on the circle - group them to a shape. Select the shape and the point (-1,-1) Enlarge (dilate) the shape through (-1,-1) with scale factor -1 Draw a circle through the 3 points of the resulting shape Hide all constructions. Does this do it for you? Douglas |

A common problem - what is happening is the coefficients of x^5 and x^6 are so small they are being ignored. There is an easy way round this. If you go to PAGE => EDIT SETTINGS and change the SIG FIG to say 9, you will find all the terms included. |

| You can also find individual intersection points by holding down CTRL (or COMMAND on the MAC) while in the POINT MODE - when you float over an intersection a little circle appears. When it does, CLICK! |

Dear shane, I am not quite sure what you mean by symmetry through the origin. Here are a couple of things you can do in Autograph: 1. Select a shape, right-click > Reflection in x-axis 2. Select a shape and a line, right-click > Reflection (will reflect the shape in the selected line). Also try searching the help for reflection or rotation. Hope this helps, Simon |

Dear Ninety9, Unfortunately I think I must have missed your deadline. However Autograph only calculates the R-squared value for straight lines of best fit. You would need to calculated the R-squared value for your quadratic and cubic functions by hand. Kind regards, Simon |

Dear rickjj, Unfortunately Autograph 3.11 was not Unicode and therefore does not support all languages. The latest Version 3.3 which will be released at the end of March is Unicode and is also translated into Simplified and Traditional Chinese. Kind regards, Simon |

Dear kristinSOE, Thank you for your email. We believe the issue with the Extras is because when Shockwave 11 is installed it does not find the Xtra files that are in the Shockwave 10 folder. If you can wait we are about to release Version 3.3 in which the Extras have been completely rewritten in Flash. It is a free upgrade from Version 3.3. Best regards, Simon |
