Parametric modelling

Does autograph have parametric modelling functions? Because I need to graph y= 2.5t3 -15t2. This is supposed to represent the position of an elevator (y) through time (t). I would need autograph to show the elevator's path through time, its velocity and its acceleration. But is this possible?  ??? If it is message me  Wink and help an Autograph-newbie out. Smiley

Dear wildfire634,

You can enter x = t, y = 2.5t³ - 15t² and then add a point to the graph.  Select the point and then from the right-click menu choose Velocity Vector and then Acceleration Vector.

Hope this helps,

Simon

An alternative approach for you:
set the axes to ‘x’ and ‘t’ in EDIT AXES
Plot x = 2.5t³ − 15t²
Then get the scales to work, and plot 1st and 2nd gradient functions using the button just to the right of the slow plot (tortoise!)
