Autograph Forums

Hello,

I\'m having difficulties with producing histograms within Autograph. I add the raw data, but then I\'m unsure of what to place in the box named "left limits and final". If I am to change these numbers, my histogram changes drastically, and I obviously want my graph to be accurate and reliable.

I have tried to find answers through the Autograph help system, however when I click on the "Histogram Measurement" option, I am told that the tutorial is not installed. I also receive then same message when I try to view the tutorial through the Internet.

Any help as to any rules or advice on what numbers must be placed within the box is much appreciated.

Sorry to hear this.

Here you are choosing to put in the classes manually, eg
  0, 40, 50, 55, 60, 100
which is useful if you want them to be unequal.
Here the left limits are 0, 40, 50, 55, 60
and the final is 100

It would do as it affects the frequencies. You should of course be using Frequency Density (Histogram dialogue box) if the classes are unequal.
