Full Version: Autograph won't allow me to enter a parametric equation

Hello,

I'm using the (latest) trial version, first of all. Downloaded from your site today.

I'm trying to plot exactly the equation viewed here:
http://www.autograph-math.com/videotutor...roller.swf

Autograph is somehow preventing me to input a second =, specifically after y. I can input pretty much anything else. I'm following the steps exactly, and have also looked it up in the help files.

What gives? Is this feature blocked in the trial version?

Edit: Autograph doesn't seem to recognize t as the parameter, neither does it seem to recognize theta... they both have the value 1, it seems.
Dear Per Stefansson,

Autograph changes the list-separator and decimal symbol dependent on your locale settings. So in the UK we would write:

y = 1.7, y = 7.2

whereas in other countries it may be written:

y = 1,7; y= 7,3

Please let me know your locale settings and I will confirm the behaviour this end. The locale can be set on Windows by going to Control Panel > Region and Language Settings and choosing the locale from the drop-down box.

Best regards,

Simon
