plotting one set of data against another
hi, im sorry to be posting this because im fairly sure that there is a simple way of doing it however i cannot find the function anywhere

my question is how do i plot one set of data against another, in my case i need to plot a set of weights against a set of heights

any help would be appreciated

Dear Maddison,

In Autograph if you want to plot bivariate data (e.g. heights and weights for a group of students) then you use the 2D Graph Page.  

1. Open a new 2D Graph Page
2. Click Enter XY Data Set
3. Put the heights in one column and the weights in the other
4. Click OK

This will show the data.  By selecting the data and right-clicking the mouse you can find the centroid or line of best fit.  Please refer to the video tutorials in the help menu to find out more about these options.
