Re: terminal services and autograph 3
Hi,
Autograph 3 has been proven to work under terminal server, however there are a couple of issues which you will need to be aware of. Firstly Autograph is maths intensive, so you may want to have a restricted number of machines able to run it at a time and or restrict the processor time available (it all depends on what the users are doing). Secondly the 3D functionality of Autograph will be unavailable. DirectX is not currently supported. Regarding installation Could you post up the error message you are getting. Its a little hard to advise you without knowing this. Shares wise though: As far as I\'m aware terminal server runs the program on the server and simply pipes input and output to the stations. I would have thought therefore that network shares weren\'t really an issue becuase stations aren\'t actually trying to access the files, they are merely dumb slaves to processes running locally on the server. There is no harm in sharing them though to see if it does fix the problem. Have you made sure you are in Install Mode before performing the installation? |
