Group policy and Flash Player 9 problem
Hi all,
Has anyone come across an issue when installing via Group Policy on the Computer Configuration when Flash Player 9 is already installed the install fails? Uninstall Flash 9 and the install completes but it installs Flash player 7. We need Flash 9 for some other software to work. Adobe are also renowed for not support MSI installation via Group Policy and Flash player is not exception. so in light of this we need to make Flash 9 part of our PC image. Any ideas on a work around? Mike |

Re: Group policy and Flash Player 9 problem
Hi,
When you run the installer customizer, you can go to the advanced page and unselect the Install Shockwave and Flash checkbox. This will prevent the installer from tryingt o install Flash 7. However in order to run the Autograph Extras pages you will need to ensure that the workstations have Shockwave 8 or greater installed. Kind Regards |
