Re: MSI Install error
Hi rwood,
This error is caused by the fact you have a newer version of flash on the machines than Autograph is trying to install. You can safely ignore the error and everything will work fine. If you are deploying a server managed network installation then you can stop it installing flash on the advanced page of the installer customiser. Hope this helps, Simon |

Re: MSI Install error
Hello Simon,
I figured it was because flash was new but couldn\'t be sure. I am installing via the managed installation. I\'ve had a look but can\'t see any way to prevent autograph from trying to install flash. Because it\'s not a manual install, it runs before logon. the install just fails without me being able to do anything. Roy |

Re: MSI Install error
hi,
With a managed installation you can disable the installation of flash in the installer customiser. There is a check box on the advanced page. You will however have to ensure that Shockwave 10 is available on the target machines if you want the extra\'s pages to run. SHockwave 11 (which is the default download now) is none compatable owing to fundamental changes in the new version and will cause major problems if present and Shockwave 10 is not. The other answer is to undeploy flash from the machines before installing Autograph and then to redeploy flash afterwards, which should work fine. hope this helps Kind Regards |

Re: MSI Install error
it\'s a new machine i\'m doing this with. i have the latest shockwave too. i have to remove this and somehow get an older version? Where am I going to get an older version?
![]() I have looked at every option available when setting up a new package and there is no checkbox saying anything about flash. |

Re: MSI Install error
Hi,
To clarify: The option isn\'t found in the group policy settings, its in our installer customiser which can be found on your CD under \\Browse\\Installation on pre ML CDs and in \\Browse\\EN\\6.INSTALLATION on the ML CD This utility creates an MST which can be added to the Modifications Tab of the GPO Installer action The option Install Shockwave and Flash should be found in the advanced options This utility is also used to add your licensing information in so that it is rolled out to every machine, if its not run then all the deployed images will be unlicensed The shockwave installer issue is a bit of a pain. They seem to have removed it from their site, despite their technical notes re that shockwave 10 content doesn\'t work with shockwave 11. I\'ll email you a zip containing an MSI and Exe of the installer to the address on your profile. Hope this helps Kind Regards |

I creted a new transformer file with the flash box unchecked! I also uninstalled shockwave 11 and put on version 10 that you sent me, thankyou very much! ![]() ran it all again and it worked! Woohoo! thankyou for your time and patience
