Autograph shading.
Is it possible for me to shade the area enclosed between the curve and the axes in the region of two defined points on a graph, e.g to explain integrals.

Re: Autograph shading.
Dear oharad,
Try the following: 1. Enter Equation: y = cosx/2 + 1 2. Select the curve, click Enter Coordinates and enter a point at x = 45 (I am assuming you are in degrees). 3. Select the curve, click Enter Coordinates and enter a point at x = 225. 4. Select both points, right-click and select Find Area. 5. Use the Animation controller to increase the number of divisions to 500. This should have the effect of "filling" the region under the curve with rectangles. Hope this helps. Simon |
