We are new to Autograph 3.2 and have installed it on 3 Windows Vista computers. When it is run as a user with Administrator rights, it works perfectly. When it is run as a user with limited rights (ie. only a member of the \'users\' group) it opens without error but when we close it, it gives the windows error: \'Autograph has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available\'. The error occurs on all 3 workstations we have tested it with. I have also tried to give the \'Users\' group all rights to c:\\program files\\autograph 3.20

Hi,

The problems wiull be caused by 1 of 2 things. Either lack of write access to the user area of the registry or to their application data folder. It writes various user settings to here on close down (into HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\Eastmond Publishing Ltd.) and others to the toolbar configuration files found in %APPDATA%\\Autograph

Hi Steve.
After a month "playing" with configuration and rights, I\'m still not able to solve my problem when closing Autograph.
I changed registry + toolbar configuration with no success.
Any other tip ?

I also have the same problem, having just downloaded the current version of v3.2 on to a Vista machine (SP2). I\'ve reinstalled several times but still no joy. This problem seems to have been with you guys for a while now but no fix available.

Please can you tell us urgently when the fix is due as I\'m sure others are experiencing this problem but need to use the software for work.

The issue has prooved more difficult to fix reliably than expected, however our upcoming free upgrade to 3.3 should fix the issue for you.
