Line segment ratio

Hi Simon,

I'm attaching a document here to work with. I wanted to know if this is possible: given a line segment and a point on it (attached to it), I move the point along the line. Is it possible to use the length of the length of the line segment and the distance between the moving point and one of the line segment's endpoints to monitor (display) the ratio between the two distances?

Hi Captain Crunch,

There is no inbuilt function to calculate the ratio of one length to another in Autograph, but it can be done by some geometric construction which can later be hidden.
