Re: can\'t save file with rotational 2D shape
What version of Autograph are you using? You can find this information in Help->About on the main menu.

Re: can\'t save file with rotational 2D shape
There should be more comprehensive version information in the Help->About box. On the third line of text it should say something like "Version 3.02" or "Version 3.04". I certainly can\'t seem to reproduce your problem on the latest version which is 3.04.1, so it would be useful if you could let me know the exact version you have.
Also it would be helpful if you could give me a bit more detail on the problem. Does simply adding and selecting a shape plus a point on a blank page and then creating a rotation transformation cause the problem if you then do a save and a load? Regards Mark |

Re: can\'t save file with rotational 2D shape
I am using v3.04.1 (30 Trial version). What I did was:
enter max-x and max-y as 10, min-x and min-y as -10, then select equal aspect. Now select snap settings to be 1, select page settings to use degrees. Create a triangle as an object (any co-ordinates), and then select a centre of rotation(anywhere other than the origin). Rotate the triangle by -90 degrees (I don\'t think it matters), also show the construction line. Now save the file. When you retrieve this saved file next time, you can see the 2 triangles are overlapped! What\'s gone wrong???? |

Re: can\'t save file with rotational 2D shape
There does seem to be an issue with 2D rotations forgetting their rotation angle when saved and reloaded. This problem has now been fixed and will be freely available in the next upgrade release.
Sorry for any inconvenience. |
