Interactive whiteboards
Our school is considering investing in interactive whiteboards for the maths dept We see them being an excellent additional tool especially for dynamic geometry software like Autograph. I\'ve got a demo version in my classroom at the minute but I can\'t get round selecting two objects (click , shift + click) for rotating objects for example :\'(. My arms are not long enough to reach the keyboard and be at the whiteboard.
Any ideas? |

Re: Interactive whiteboards
Hello Rich
Assuming you are using version 3 of Autograph there are a couple of ways you can overcome this. If you select Preferences from the View menu and go to the General tab there is a checkbox \'No Shift for Multiple Select\' that you can tick. This enables multiple selection of objects without the use of the Shift key. To deselect the objects you must click anywhere on the screen that is not an object. Perhaps a better way to set this up though, for interactive whiteboards, is to go to the Whiteboard tab in the Preferences. This dialog box allows you to setup any options that you wish to be enabled when using a whiteboard. One of these options is \'No Shift for Multiple Select\'. Once you have done this, click the \'Whiteboard Mode\' button in the top toolbar to enable Whiteboard Mode. If you then wish to use Autograph without the whiteboard you simply click the button again to switch off all the whiteboard options. Hope this helps. Mark |

Re: Interactive whiteboards
Thanks Mark,
We don\'t have version 3 yet. It looks like I\'ll have to put that on my Christmas wish list aswell! |
