different versions - opening .agg files
Help,

I have students doing A-level coursework and I have introduced them to Autograph.  At home they have downloaded the latest 30-day trial and produced some work.  However when they send them to me I can\'t open them as I don\'t have the same version, the version at school is even older and there doesn\'t seem to be any way in the later versions to save .agg files which can be read by earlier versions - even when the file is a very straigthforward graph.

Is there any solution?  How do we find out how much it costs to upgrade school to the latest version and what happens when that changes again!!?

Thank you
Sally

Re: different versions - opening .agg files
Hello Sally

Autograph agg files are backwards compatible but not forwards compatible. In other words, more recent versions of Autograph will load older files but older versions of Autograph will not load files created using a more recent version. This is the case with many applications since new and updated features require changes in the file format.

The upgrade costs depend on what version of Autograph you currently have. If you already have v.3.xx then the upgrade is free. If you a still using v.2.xx then the upgrade is half the normal license cost. More details can be found on the order form at the following link: http://www.autograph-maths.com/downloads...rForm3.doc

Regards
Mark
