How do I create a box and whisker diagram??

Hey,

Just started using Autograph for my maths cwrk but have no idea as to how to create a box and whisker diagram??

Where do I start??  :-[  

Do I have to have grouped data??

Maths teacher said something about \'data Set 1\' but its not there.

Please help ASAP.  :\'(

Hi

Box and Whisker Dagrams can be created using both Raw data and Grouped Data.

In order to create 1 in Autograph you need to do the following

1) Open a 1D Statistics Page
2) Right click and select either \'Enter Raw Data\' or \'Enter Grouped Data\'
3) (Using Raw Data) A dialogue will appear which will allow you to enter your data set. This can be taken from another source e.g. Excel or you can select from a distribution.
4) To Sample from a distribution press the \'Select Distrib\' Button
5) Select the distribution you wish to use (say the Poisson) and click OK
6) Now Press the \'Create Sample\' Button to get Autograph to create a random sample. Click OK on the Dataset Dialogue to create the Dataset
7) You can now create a Box and Whisker Plot for your Raw Data by Right clicking and selecting it from the Menu.
